About Mary-Jo

Mary-Jo Strong serves as a legal assistant to the attorneys of Avard Law Offices. Her experience as a Social Security Administration Specialist and Claims Rep from 1978-2006 provides extensive knowledge and resources to the firm.

Mary-Jo worked for SSA for 38 years handling disability and medicare claims. She currently devotes her time to informing individuals of the requirements and responsibilities of the various programs administered by Social Security. Her SSA experience included developing, examining, investigating and adjudicating claims for disability, survivors, retirement, and health insurance from basic to the most complex.
