VA Proposes to Expand Coverage for Veterans Exposed To Agent Orange
The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to expand the locations and time frames for which it presumes exposure to Agent Orange and other herbicides.
If the proposed rule becomes effective, it will expand the presumption of exposure to include locations where herbicides were tested, used, or stored outside of Vietnam.
Locations in the United States, Canada and India would be added to the presumptive locations already in place; namely, Vietnam, Cambodia, Johnson Atoll, Guam, American Samoa, Korea, Laos, and Thailand.
